My doctoral and master’s graduates celebrating my retirement, 2007 (they came to Detroit from as far away as the Philippines, Seattle, and Washington, D.C).  I remain Professor Emeritus, and continue to review manuscripts for journal editors.

  1. Dr. Hough,

I am embarking on a project to write a history of the research vessel Inland Seas (formerly Ranger II, formerly JMP 63, currently St. Barnabe), and thought you would probably have memories, or knowledge of source material, that might be interesting and relevant.

If you would be willing to share some of your knowledge, I would be most appreciative.

I may be contacted at tangent720-ranger at yahoo dot com.

    Thank you,
    Charles Austin
